BEGINNER KIDS (Ages 5+)

Fun Game Orientated Lessons

Lessons for young children include improvisation, rhythm and sight-reading skills. With an emphasis on learning for enjoyment, many skills are introduced in the form of musical games and exercises. Sight-reading is introduced after the first 1-2 months of getting to know the instrument and a feel for interacting with different musical styles.

BEGINNER ADULTS

No Stress Learning Environment

We all have busy lives and different amounts of time we can apply to our learning. Lessons are tailored to your learning interests and pace. Learn to play your favourite songs from the beginning, so you stay motivated! Build strong piano technique, read music with an easy-to-understand step-by-step process, and learn HOW to practice effectively.

INTERMEDIATE STUDENTS

If you are returning to the piano after taking a break or are interested in trying a new approach, I can create lesson plans to suit your needs and abilities. I can cater to students preparing for examinations (School or AMEB), auditions, or those learning purely for the joy of music. Styles taught include classical, contemporary classical, jazz, and pop/rock.
